I've written a short guide to year III -- practical things like the computer and phone systems, forms used in the hospital, skeletons for labs, etc.
Ironically, if you read it you'll have no idea how much the rest of us suffered before figuring this out. It's said that only fools learn from their own mistakes, because the wise learn from the fools. Mr. T says, "I pity da foo ..." I apologize in advance for any mistakes/incorrect information.
